Allie grew up in Ohio on her parents farm shoveling poop and playing in the dirt. These formative years were not easy to wash off and stuck with her. She ended up studying organic sustainable agriculture, herbal medicine, alternative energy and sustainable architecture at Evergreen College. Most of Allie’s life has been spent in the out of doors and she naturally migrated to rural Alaska, in the heart of the Matanuska Valley. Today Allie melds her education, strong work ethic, love for dirt and passion for healing naturally through the farm, our community, the farmer’s market and the many interns who make the long journey here in the summer.
