We strongly believe in local, small scale, organic agriculture (in the most ecological
sense) . We are committed to hard labor and getting dirty in order
to better know the soil and deepen our understanding of how to work with, and not against,
the land. Success is defined by the quality of food produced, not the
quantity. We focus on producing nutrient dense food that energizes the body,
mind, and soul. We believe in the interconnectedness of the life web and see ourselves as a cog in the wheel.
By embracing and developing stronger relationships with local farmers our communitites become more resilient and aware of food security issues. Developing a deeper relationship with food, the land, and the farmers who grow our food enables us to become healthier in our lives, relationships, and communities. True sustainability requires resiliency in our ability to move beyond our dysfunctional food system and envision a brighter future with backyard bounty in every yard.
